Andy Grammer is an American singer-songwriter and musician born in Los Angeles, California. He grew up in a musical family and started playing music at a young age. Grammer became well-known for his catchy and upbeat pop songs, often infused with personal and inspirational lyrics.
After attending college, Grammer began busking on the streets of Santa Monica, California, where he gained a following and eventually signed a record deal with S-Curve Records. His debut single, "Keep Your Head Up," was released in 2011 and became a hit, reaching the top 10 on the Billboard Adult Pop Songs chart.
